Translates, mostly without revision, texts covering a broad range of subjects dealt with by the United Nations, particularly those subjects requiring experience and recognized proficiency, while meeting or exceeding required workload standards.Revises translations and original summary records dealing with a broad range of subjects dealt with by the United Nations, while meeting or exceeding required workload standards.Within delegated authority, the Revisers will be responsible for the following duties:

The incumbents work under the general supervision of the Chief of the Russian Translation Service. The Russian Translation Service provides translation of parliamentary documents from English and other languages into Russian. These positions are located in the Russian Translation Service, Documentation Division, Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM), New York.
